Almanac Palais Vienna is looking for an operationally strong and financially minded General Manager to lead the hotel with clarity, passion, and consistency. This role requires someone who is hands-on, present in the operation, confident with numbers, and able to inspire people. As General Manager, you are responsible for the overall performance of the hotel, ensuring that service delivery, financial planning, cost control, and team leadership work together.

- You lead the day-to-day hotel operation with clear accountability for financial, operational, and quality performance
- You manage the hotel P&L with a strong focus on GOP, payroll, cost control, forecasting, and budget delivery
- You act as the main operational liaison for the owners of the residences, ensuring communication is professional, timely, consistent, and well managed
- You lead, support, and develop the Executive Committee and wider leadership team
- You build a positive working environment where people understand expectations, feel supported, and take ownership
- You ensure operational standards are clear, practical, consistently implemented, and financially sensible
- You work closely with Finance, Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver the agreed business plan
- You drive guest satisfaction, brand consistency, service standards, and quality audits
- You identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability without weakening the guest experience
- You ensure compliance with legal, financial, safety, and brand requirements

- Du bringst fundierte Erfahrung als General Manager oder Hotel Manager in einem gehobenen oder luxuriösen Hotelumfeld mit
- Du verfügst über ein starkes finanzielles Verständnis, insbesondere in den Bereichen P&L, Budgetierung, Forecasting, Payroll und Kostenmanagement
- Du bist eine hands-on Führungspersönlichkeit, präsent im operativen Tagesgeschäft
- Du überzeugst durch ausgeprägte Führungskompetenz und die Fähigkeit, Teams zu entwickeln und klare Verantwortlichkeiten zu schaffen
- Du kommunizierst sicher und professionell mit Eigentümern, Gästen, Stakeholdern und Teams

- Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- You have proven experience as General Manager or Hotel Manager in an upscale or luxury hotel environment
- You have strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, payroll control, and cost control
- You have a hands-on, operationally present leadership style
- You have strong people leadership skills, with the ability to develop teams and create accountability
- You have strong communication skills with owners, residents, senior stakeholders, and teams
- You have a good understanding of hotel operations across rooms, F&B, engineering, housekeeping, finance, revenue, and sales
- You have clear judgement, structure, and the ability to balance service, standards, and profitability
- You are fluent in English and German

Für diese Position (Vollzeit) gilt das Brutto-Mindestgehalt von € 3.261,50 des KVs für Angestellte in der Hotellerie.
